May birthdays... a little late!

What do my 11-year-0ld niece and my 36-year-old husband have in common (other than being part of the same kooky family)?  He doesn't really get the whole Webkinz thing and she doesn't play bass guitar... Hmmmm-- they're both Geminis!  Happy Birthday, Madeline and Stuart!

On Vacation

When you're on vacation and your nephew asks for a Yoda cake, what do you do?  You improvise!! We've just discovered that with nieces helping out, giving encouragement and sneaking licks of frosting (I'm teaching them ALL my tricks), you can turn boxed cake mix and canned frosting into a 4-year-old's dream cake.  :)

Go, Diego, Go!

Kind of looks like one of the Keebler elves, but we think this 2-year-0ld Diego fan will be happy with her cake!  Kamala's 2-year-old wanted her own copy of the photo we used, and she couldn't even part with her "Diggo picture" at bedtime!

Growing Light Montessori School

We hope all the young artists who were honored at the Growing Light art show enjoyed a piece of this humongous cake!

Dolphins

We think EVERY teacher should celebrate the last day of class with cake for the students!

This Week in Sports

First soccer balls, now baseballs... I bet the people next to these fans at the ballpark were super jealous! Maybe one of these days, vendors will be selling cupcakes.

Missing Trucks...

Not to worry! The trucks were supplied at the time we dropped of the cake-- we just didn't have a camera. Just picture an excavator working at the hole, a paver smoothing the road, and a bulldozer moving that pile! The cupcakes were to supplement the cake, because of all those hungry kids (and parents)!
