This Buzz Lightyear-inspired rocket ship was made using two layers of chocolate cake and LOTS of frosting for the smoke and flames. We made the fins out of fondant, which were then painted silver... Up, up and away!

Hey, I just discovered the blog -- that was our cake! It was as delicious as it was beautiful, and definitely the most incredible cake we've ever had. We'll see you guys in a few months for big brother's fifty states themed cake!
